ABOUT US
Little Hearts Child Educational Center was established in Budapest in 2022 and its activities are based on volunteerism. Our platform includes multiple pedagogues, preschool teachers, classroom teachers and young individuals.
Little Hearts Child Educational Center, as its name suggests, has many purposes such as ensuring that children are healthy and happy, easily accessing their rights, receiving sufficient attention from their parents and teachers, and supporting their education in many areas, including cultural and social.
The founding members of our platform are experts who have pedagogical training in the field of family and children, and who have articles and dissertations on the prevention of child neglect and abuse.
Our members are motivated people to hear more about the issues such as child abuse and neglect, which are the bleeding wounds of our society, and the promotion of children's rights, and to raise awareness on these issues.
OUR MOTIVATION
Our platform started its volunteer work in Budapest with more than 100 members. The primary purpose of our platform is to increase the visibility of children's rights and to ensure that teachers and parents reach maximum awareness in this area. Children are shaped first by their families and then by the education they receive at school. Being aware of this, our platform members have targeted and continue to target youth, children and educators, who are the parents of the future, in their work. In this context, our goals as Little Hearts Child Educational Center are as follows:
- To carry out informative studies on the content and importance of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child,
- To organize studies, workshops and games by getting together with children in order to recognize and know their rights,
- To organize projects to inform parents and future parents about children's rights,
- To organize voluntary training courses in order to focus on issues that have become a bleeding wound in the world, such as child abuse and the concept of child labor, and to raise awareness in this field,
- To emphasize that the place of the child is playgrounds and schools and organizing informative seminars and trainings against the concept of child bride,
- To increase the visibility of Erasmus+ program and to inform young people about the opportunities this program provides,
- To point out global problems and increase the participation of young people in volunteering projects with the Erasmus+ program.
Our platform adopts the above-mentioned goals as a principle and continues to work towards achieving these goals. Thanks to our many stakeholders and members in Budapest, we appeal to a large target audience, and we insist on moving our work beyond this audience.
